TWO COURSES
There are 2 courses: a 10 mile and a 25 mile course. Both start and
finish at lower Ross Park. They will go from Ross Park down 4th &
5th Avenue towards Century High School. Just past the freeway underpass
at Ft. Hall Mine Road (4.5 miles from the start).
The 10 mile course will turn right at Fort Hall Mine Road, cross the railroad tracks and return to Ross Park.
The
25 mile course will stay on the Old Highway 91 continuing on to Inkom.
At the Main road into Inkom keep going 'straight', and head past the
Bible Study Church (10 miles). Turn left on Rapid Creek and continue
to Jackson Creek where you will turn right (11.5 miles). Make a right
turn at Inkom Road. Go past the road that goes up to Pebble Creek ski
area and turn right on Old Highway 91 back towards Inkom (13 miles).
Once in Inkom, turn left towards the cement plant, cross the railroad
tracks, go up the hill and turn right at the top of the hill taking the
West Portneuf Road back towards Pocatello (15 miles). Travel to For
Hall Mine Road, (5 miles remaining), cross the road and ride past the
LDS church, staying to the right until a right turn at Bannock
Highway. Follow the Highway until Indian Hills School where a right
turn will take you back to Ross Park. (2 miles from the school to the
finish). |
